Too soon to really tell if it will last. So far, it has worked really well on my garden tools.I bought this sharpener for my garden clippers. Only part of the blade fits in the sharpener! total waste of money.GreatBought to sharpen Garden shears, no good at all. The 2 small "sharpeners " at the end don't last long, one actually fell out. Would not recommend it.This was useful as it was so versatile,I managed to sharpen various garden tools with it.Great for hand shearsGreat pocket sharpener no worry about correct angles. Unfortunately it's a little awkward for secateur sharpening unless you can open the blade out quite wide.Read spec carefully, good tool but does not do secateurs unless you take them apart which I did. Now nice and sharp.
