I got this because I switched to my old Bullseye putter (from the 60’s), and I’m so used to not having to bend over to pick up the ball with these new putters, I wanted to give it a try.Although it fit fine on my other putters (none of which needed it), it didn’t fit at all on my Bullseye. I don’t know why - the Bullseye has a pinhole at the top of the grip like the other putters, but I almost broke my thumb trying to get the Xtractor in.Overall, it’s very well made, and it does work as advertised - picks the ball up pretty easily and holds it in place, but the “prongs” are a hard plastic that really don’t look like they would hold up to a lot of heavy handed stabbing at the ball to pick it up. It may be a little unfair of me to expect it to break, and I want to be clear that it didn’t break on me when I had it in the other putter, but I was being gentle in my den - NOT out on the course.One other point I need to make. There’s conflicting information out there as to how to install this. Someone mentioned an extra piece, but mine was one piece of plastic with a metal screw that did not screw away from the plastic. I reached out to the seller for clarification, but never heard back. I’m rating the tool and not the seller here, but my experience with the seller was not a good one in terms of communication. The seller did perform well in shipping the item quickly.
