I’d never changed the sights on a handgun before, and wanted to put night sights on a couple Glocks. I’d watched videos of people doing it with hammers and decided that was not the right way. I’m great with a hammer, but really? I was looking for more precision.After googling around and more video watching I settled on the MGW tool, and I’m glad I did. The tool is super well made and solid. Used with care, I don’t see how this could ever break.Removal of stock sights was effortless. Installation of new sights was easy, but not effortless. As I was tightening the screw to push the sights in, if it got too tight feeling, I’d back off the pressure and start again. That seemed to help it continue without any bind. I had to repeat that a number of times during installation.I also used a dial caliper to ensure that the new sights, front and rear, were centered. This was great, and I think I did a better job at installing my new sights than Glock did with the stock sights. Seriously, I’ve had this one gun for 20 years and it has, very reliably, shot a little to the left all this time. It is a superbly accurate gun, the sights were just a hair off. Not any more. It hits point of aim now, which is very satisfying.I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend.Doesn’t work with slimline glocksHad a couple of glocks that I wanted to upgrade the sights on. First Glock I tried to do with just a punch… pain in the butt. Do yourself a favor and just buy this and save yourself the frustrationThis thing slides the dovetail sights in and out with ease. I have the adapters for the double stack glocks and the single stack one and have had nothing but great success with this. In a Glock armorers class I took they said this is the only sight pusher worth getting.This is a high quality and extremely effective tool, probably the best sight pusher you can use for a Glock.
