A Mechanics OpinionI purchase two of thies units first of all thier is no o ring for the top so yes dirt and dust will make is way into oil, thier is no dust cover for the top of the plunger that's comes out of the lid they worked great for about 2 daysthe problem with them the primer plunger gets stuck at the bottom I took said unit apart and tried to streach out the spring and again it worked fine for 2 days and again the plunger gets stuck at the bottom so like I said this is a great idea only needs to be approved onNice way to oil your tools, always in one spot don’t have to keep track of a bottle, I have it mounted right beside tool boxWorks great. When you have 5k in air tools it's nice to know they are oiled. Definitely will extend the service life of tools. Easy to use.Poor Quality construction makes this great idea a complete failure. Do NOT buy one of these. I kept thinking it would break in and the pivot arm and oil pump plunger would start working better. Well the opposite has happened the pump now sticks after on stroke on the lever and no oil can be obtained at the output. In my trying to make it through a break period of this product I have waited past Amazon's return window and now it seems I'm stuck with it. I'm back to using a bottle of oil for my tools and have wasted a good amount of money on this product.gimmickyThe reservoir (on the air tool oiler) cracked around the edge at a casting seam. The entire volume of air tool oil drained onto the floor over the weekend. Contacted a distributor, they did not seem too interested in helping me get a warranty repair/replacement.A bit pricey for a plastic unit but if it holds up it will be worth it.This eliminates us bypassing the oiling because we are in a hurry.Very handy makes oiling my air tools less messy.Exactly what i was looking for to install in my garage. I dont always want to have an inline oiler ready for when im using specific tools, sothis mounted on the side of my cabinet was just what i was hoping for. When I received it, it is a bit prototypish felling, but the basic concept was there. I thought i would try sticking it to the cabinet as it had a high end looking adhesive back. But thats where the aggravation begain. With the sticktoo surface clean, the included adhesive is terrible!! Absolutely useless. The plastic mount is so warped, there is literally no contact surface for it to adhere to, and the adhesive is so thin, it has no contour ability.2nd issue is if you plan to use this as a table top oiler, the bottle has no sealing gasket on the top, so any minor tiling, and it leaks allover the place.Honestly disappointed for something this price.
