Not worth the money. For $5 more get the original APTIV as picture with better finish, bigger screws Or if you want something economical get the IWS for a quarter of the price. Returning and ordering the Original Recommend to change the picture and put more pictures of the product you are selling.If you are looking for a GREAT automotive/marine wire connector, then you just found the BEST. What I like the most is the fact they are designed to connect solidly and weather proof, yet they easily disconnect for maintenance or component replacement! I used mine for an in tank fuel pump replacement in a Ford Crown Vic. This connector made it possible to replace the pump WITHOUT having to drop the fuel tank or added expense of new tank straps and/or bolts which NEED to be cut at installation to prevent fuel tank ruptures in a rear-end collision. This crimper tool is worth the money if you do more than 2 electrical repairs in your lifetime!!! The ONLY thing I would remotely criticize IS they don't come with ANY instructions on proper use, which is ESSENTIAL for proper function. Thanks to YouTube vids I was able to finally get it right after ruining 3 connector couplings before searching several videos to see a good detailed shot of what actually needs to take place to get the PERFECT ELECTRICAL CONNECTION!Okay, was going to buy a cheap tool then did research on one step crimp tools. Soooo glad I got this!!! I was a bit nervous, like Nancy Pelosi at a Three Gun Meet. Didn't want to mess it up. This tool makes crimping soooo easy!!!! Excellent tool!!!!!! Don't get a cheap, multiple step tool. Well worth the price.The great thing about this crimp tool is the way it holds the terminal, wire, and seal in the correct alignment while making both crimps in a single step. It makes a nice tight double-D crimp on the wire and a nice circular crimp on the seal that is tight enough to hold it without distorting it. The downside is that it sometimes bends a crimp ear the wrong way (away from the wire instead of toward it), ruining the terminal and requiring a redo. This can be avoided by manually pre-bending the ears to a vertical position, ensuring that they are correctly captured in the crimp die when the jaws close. Were it not for this fault, the tool would rate five stars.No these are not cheap. However, for installing Weatherpack style connectors onto wiring this is the best tool I own for doing so, period. Do some research regarding how to use this tool if you're new to the game, because a lot of people remove the plastic guard that's installed on one side of the jaws, not understanding it's purpose. It's used to exactly position the connector in the tools jaws just prior to crimping. These pliers are well made professional tooling and I would highly recommend this to someone who was going to be doing a lot of Weatherpack connector builds.Best crimpers for the connectors I needed. All the others are slightly out of wack and just don't work consistently.If your crimping weatherpack terminals this is the tool you want to buy. I bought this to replace a cheap one made in china that did a terrible job crimping and this tool is amazing. All the crimps look factory. Excellent tool!! Was shipped and delivered timely as well. Highly recommend seller and tool!!I was told the cheaper version of these crimpers would be just fine for my purposes since I will only be using them on rare occasions. But there will be more steps involved with them. The way I look at things, the more steps I have to make, the more mistakes I could potentially make. Buy something expensive and cry once, buy something cheap and cry twice when you end up replacing them. BTW, you can learn how to use them properly on YouTube.
