I also use it when I am setting up the lifts underneath the car in the shop bay. I use it to pull on the arms of the lift when they are too deep under the car and I can't reach with my own hands. hahahahaAnd I also have used for what it's meant for too and it works just in case you are wondering. LOLUPDATE: Don't use it as a cane when getting up from the floor. Learn from my mistakes please. The weld broke on the outer hook recently. Also, pulling on the arms of the lifts might not have help either. So lesson for the day on this tool, just use it for what it's meant for, unless unique circumstances call for other uses. hahahahahaUnless your a welder and can add more welds to it to reinforce it some more, then by all means do what ever you want with it.I'm not gonna blame the tool for this one... it's probably my fault.
