I'm glad I picked up the whole kit. As my dreads are natural and have just been maintaining them with my hands. The lock docta works Great!! It's good they sent a couple of spare tips as I broke the first tip gettin the hang of it. I had dreads that were splitting into two then rejoining again. The docta locked em together nice. The Afro pick feels good on the scalp and can be used at the base to tighten up the dread where it forms. I'll probably never use the peppa as I've always been able to roll little dread balls with loose hair. Even with my white straight hair. I've always pushed dread balls and tiny dreads through the base of an adjacent dread to clean em up. The large and small loose hair tools work way better as I can yank with a little force hair all the way into my dread. Better than crotchet hooks as the tips have a end that closes when drawing the hair in. All the instructions are on you tube but it's not rocket science. I would have liked some swag thrown in but it's okay. Package arrived intact, on time, and nothing leaked as I read about in another review. Keep on keepin on and Happy Knotting?
