About this item [GET THE MOST FROM YOUR KWIK EDGE]: The Kwik Edge tool is designed to maintain the flower bed border by keeping grass from creeping in, NOT to create the edge. The curved back directs the soil back into the flower bed – KWIK EDGE Mini lets you enjoy the benefits of a regular hoe, but with greater precision and ease. The Kwik Edge Boss 7” wide half-moon shape tool head & 54.5” total tool length wood handle garden scuffle hoe can do it all. [MAINTENANCE TOOL]: Designed to keep grass from encroaching into the flower bed. The vertical and horizontal blade cuts invading grassroots. Cultivates and grooms the soil into the bed; does not cut overhanging grass blades – KWIK EDGE Mini superior weeding-cultivation in mature plant beds and hard to reach areas - precision cultivating where other tools cannot go! Weeding and garden cultivation made easy! [HOW TO USE]: Use a half-moon and/or conventional shovel to remove sod to the desired size and shape of the bed (the Kwik Edge tool is not recommended for creating the edge). Use the Kwik Edge tool to clean and cultivate the border. Most effective when soil is slightly dry, so roots and soil do not hang up on the blade. In heavy clay soil add sand and other amendments to loosen the soil – Aerates soil and cuts weeds - multi-purpose tool can also be used for cultivating, tilling & sowing [EASE OF USE]: In one smooth motion the KWIK EDGE turns yard work into gardening and leaves flower beds looking like they have been professionally manicured. Repeated use of the Kwik Edge tool conditions the soil as it turns, and mixes added amendments making every use easier than the last – KWIK EDGE Boss 54.5” long garden tool enables upright stance, reducing back strain. Turn yard work into GARDENING with the Kwik Edge Garden Tools. [100% MONEY BACK]: American Company, small business located in the Mountain West. I was new to gardening, and searching Youtube for answers when promotional videos for Kwik Edge came up. Obviously the vids made it look easier than it was to cut a trench around flower beds and removes weeds from cracks in the driveway. If I'd been a bit more experienced in gardening I wouldn't have fallen for it. I found the "Big Boss" and the Kwik Edge tools to be damn near useless. However, I'm going to give it 4 stars rather than 3 because I found that the mini-hoes were very sturdy. Also, I suspect that other might find the Kwik Edge easier to use than me. Garden tools have a wide variety of customization for good reason. The same tool can be a wonder in one person's hands, and awkward in anothers. So I'm giving the benefit of the doubt. Part of what sold me were the other garden channels on Youtube who demonstrated how the tool was useful for their purposes.
